In case you missed last month’s event, we had over 100 people drinking, conversing, and living out face-to-face social media. Many folks were able to mark off numerous names on their “meet in person” list. Don’t be shy, you can’t hide behind your twitter avatar forever. Come on out and enjoy some fun!

What: Sun King Beer, Judge’s BBQ, Cornhole tournament, and (of course) live game coverage

This is such a great combination of local indulgence–if you are anywhere near downtown on Saturday, you owe it to yourself to stop by.

Thanks to awesome people like you, our second Social Media Happy Hour has sold out in just over 24 hours! It looks like we’re going to have another awesome event at Scotty’s Brewhouse with lots of awesome people. Let’s see if we can get another Swarm Badge!

If you somehow missed your chance to register for this event, fear not! Just like last time, we had a few people cancel their RSVP and we opened up more tickets to the waiting list. Probably a week before the event, we’ll open up some more slots to make up for cancellations. If you want to be first on that list, be sure to add yourself to our waitlist.

With over 100 people attending, our first ever Social Media Happy Hour was a great success! Thank you to everyone who showed up and helped make this a fun and engaging event. Scotty’s Brewhouse was an excellent host and provided some great appetizers and atmosphere for the event (I somehow managed to neglect the dill chips–something that will not happen again!).

We also were successful in attaining the Foursquare Swarm Badge shortly after 6:00 PM, which was fun to see happen. I’m hoping we can continue to add swarm badges every time we participate in a swarm.

I’d also like to thank Hare Chevrolet, Address Two, and HCC Medical Insurance Services for providing door prizes for the event.
